Join us on Saturday 31 October, from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm, at Âme de sorcière for a book sale and swap.

31 October – Book Sale & Swap Day – 10.00–17.00

On Halloween Saturday, the shop will once again be transformed into a space dedicated to female readers.

How does it work?

Bring along books (or oracle decks/tarot cards) in good condition that you no longer wish to keep.

Swap them for something new to read.

Or simply pop in to hunt for a few hidden gems at bargain prices.

Fantasy, romance, thrillers, self-help, esoteric books… all genres are welcome.

And because a book-themed day never comes alone:

@itsumademo will be there with a selection of goodies (Japan, Disney, kawaii stationery, etc.) and @la.paillette.tatto will be there with her special Halloween flash tattoos!

This day has plenty more surprises in store for you – we’ll be announcing them as and when on our social media!

Here’s an exclusive sneak peek: if you’ve got a party planned for the evening and want to take your costume to the next level, you can come and have your make-up done!

And if you turn up already in fancy dress, you’ll get a 10 per cent discount on items in the shop.

We hope this day will be an opportunity to meet other readers, share our favourite books and perhaps lay the foundations for a future reading community.
