In a completely natural décor in the middle of a larch forest, you can find the majority of species of our wildlife living or having lived in the Alps. Adjoining the zoo, the Alpine swimming pool snuggles in the rocks. Surprisingly and poetically sculpted in the rock, it is in complete harmony with the natural alpine environment.
Situated at an altitude of 1,100 metres (3609 feet), the zoo is the highest in Europe, where you can discover Alpine wildlife in its natural environment. The pine and larch forest contains mysteries within its 35,000-plus square metres. The park is open throughout the year from 10 o’clock and from 9 o’clock in summer.
Fantastic and full of poetic charm, the swimming pool is carved in the rock and in complete harmony with the natural Alpine environment. The Les Marécottes swimming pool is a unique experience! It is open from June until September depending on the weather.
The log café-restaurant will thrill your taste buds in a unique setting. In summertime, it is possible to receive your order leisurely on the terrace opposite the swimming pool. In winter, the setting offers a welcoming atmosphere with its log fire.
