In the middle of a forest, on the Rhone valley floor, this picnic area is easy to reach and most convival.
A few minutes from the village of Vernayaz, in a setting of greenery, the Poudrière picnic shelter will welcome you for your family meals or celebrations, just up to 100 people.
Practical information: the shelter has a kitchen, a fridge, a gas fire, electric plates, tables and benches and grill ovens.
Access: follow the cantonal (main) road to the entrance of the village of Vernayaz. When you have passed the bridge over the Trient, turn immediately to your right and follow the “Chemin du Trient” road. The picnic shelter is on the left. It is also possible to follow the route des iles from Martigny. When you have crossed the river Trient, follow the “Chemin du Trient” for a few metres and the shelter is on your right indicated by a sign.
