120e anniversaire du Mont-Blanc Express [EN]

Don't miss it!

On August 18, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., come celebrate the 120th anniversary of the Mont-Blanc Express during an afternoon dedicated to history, heritage, and travel.

On August 18, 1906, the Martigny–Châtelard railway was inaugurated. 120 years later, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, TMR will kick off the festivities marking the 120th anniversary of the Mont-Blanc Express.

This anniversary invites you to take a trip back in time and celebrate the history, heritage, and evolution of this iconic line, which has connected Martigny to the Chamonix Valley for over a century.

To mark the occasion, a major anniversary contest is being held. Try your luck and win a two-day stay in Chamonix for four people!
