The Combédie troupe revives a humorous play by Jacques Vilfrid and Jean Girault, created in 1952 (in French).
Leonard, a shrewd businessman, is looking to get rid of a worthless oil lease that his wife Cynthia has bought from a swindler. He then sets his sights on Antoine, a billionaire courting his daughter Patricia, who could be the perfect “patsy” but he has to contend with a fake explorer husband, a son who came home too soon, a real man-eater and the culinary experiments of his eccentric wife…
