Elias Würsten obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of Lausanne before continuing his studies at EDHEA, where he graduated in Visual Arts in 2022. Through his work MontageChocards4_edit_edit1.mkv, the artist takes a critical look at content creation technologies. By artificially modifying the code of a video shot from his balcony in Sierre, he forces the software to make playback errors and display visual bugs. With a title that evokes the manipulation of digital files, the artist reveals images filled with unrealistic colors, superimpositions and pixels.
