Manoir de la Ville de Martigny: Exhibition “The archives of our utopias”

Summer exhibition

The archives of our utopias

For its summer exhibition, the Manor is hosting 152 utopias, the fruits of a contest-collection launched in January 2022 and open to all artistic disciplines as well as to all interested individuals, professional∙ artists as well as affected or committed∙ citizens.

In the face of social, health and climate upheavals, the exhibition presents itself as a catalog of ideas, of avenues in favor of transformation: archives to consult, to question, to value and to preserve.

By gathering these stimulating works and projects, the Manoir opens a space for reflection and gives the field to art as a tool
of expression and vindication.

Because it is always time to give one’s opinion, to hear that of others, to believe in tomorrow and to open a new era…
