Théâtre Alambic – “Theatre without animals “

Jean-Michel Ribes's comedy Théâtre sans animaux is a breath of freedom and resistance to certain principles of our society. It's a play that acts as a great antidepressant.

Both funny and moving, it makes a mockery of the world and, paradoxically, sends us back to our senses.

Winner of several Molières awards, Théâtre sans animaux is a series of eight tales, each one a storm of comedy. Four actors, including the formidable Laurent Deshusses, take the byways of the absurd. They escape from reality. Situations get out of hand. And the spoken word is reinvented. “The actors are hilarious, speaking at top speed, and above all using gestures and expressions that add to the text without overdoing it. The play feels good, and we laugh a lot.” (L’Agenda) “Brillant…. Everything is light, fine, offbeat.” (Le Temps)

A real treat of theater and humor.
