The Cinémanoir takes you on a discovery of Paris.
A cycle that gives pride of place to the particular atmosphere of the City of Light and whose films will resound like visual echoes of the songs sung at the beginning of the year on the Caves stage by the Rose-Gorge company.
THE FRENCH DISPATCHUS (US)
Comedy-drama by Wes Anderson (USA, 2021), with Benicio del Toro, Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton, Léa Seydoux, Frances Mc Dormand.
The French Dispatch brings to life a collection of stories from the latest issue of an American magazine published by a rather eccentric team. Following the death of the editor, the reporters meet one last time to write his obituary, which develops into a collection of stories set in Anderson’s inimitable cinematic style, where a sociopathic prisoner becomes a beloved painter, young students confront the CRS in a battle where the barricades have been transformed into a chessboard, and the child of a gourmet commissioner is kidnapped.
A jewel of deadpan fantasy; a sketch film with a dream cast.
