Saint-Maurice: Lumina – Les voix de la lumière

LUMINA 2021, from 10 to 11 December 2021

New worlds: it is under this inspiring theme that light will once again take centre stage in Saint-Maurice, from 10 to 11 December, with the new edition of the Lumina festival, in a 2-day format, adapted to the health circumstances of the moment.

In the heart of the city, the new edition of the Lumina festival will focus on natural light, but not only that… New performance spaces will be offered, with new and original formats.

The fire artists will return to the city on three stages, in a new form, and a spectacular artistic installation in the Grand-Rue, an enchanting and symbolic 30-metre long light tunnel, unique in Switzerland, in the form of a message of hope, like a link between our world and those to come.

The musicians will perform in concert in the illuminated Basilica and on the Val-de-Marne square. A soft silent party will be organised on the archaeological site of the Abbey and the Skate Park will also offer events this year, for the first time.

More than 40 artistic interventions, shows and concerts will be available to be seen and heard over 2 days, in compliance with health regulations, and with all the necessary space, the organisers assure.

New worlds to discover, according to the theme of the 2021 edition, in which the artists are already projecting themselves!

See you in Saint-Maurice, to go and meet them, in the second week of December.
