In homage to his photographer friend, who died during the confinement, the Pierre Gianadda Foundation is dedicating an exhibition to Michel Darbellay, photographer: a retrospective in collaboration with the Médiathèque Valais-Martigny which, since 2010, has kept all the photographer’s archives. To exhibit Michel Darbellay’s photographs is to talk about the Valais, its landscapes, the men and women who built it and who bring it to life. Above all, it means taking the public into worlds and encounters over the seasons and over a long career spent on roads and paths, but also in the air.
