Marble Quarry

When you arrive at the marble quarry, shout out your name to hear it echo through the rocks.

Walkers are able to reach the marble quarry via a path through vineyards and a forest. Anyone who takes time out to walk along this path can imagine the difficulty of transporting the marble to the plain (before the arrival of the narrow funicular railway ). For security reasons, it is forbidden to climb the fence, which prevents access to the galleries.
