The Foundation Pierre Gianadda presents the second time after 1995 a big exhibition of the painter Nicolas de Staël, one of the most active arstist in Europe in the postwar period.
The exhibiton combines a hundert pictures which belong to the biggest public and private collections in Europe and the United States (by name: Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris ; Henie-Onsad Art Centre, Norway ; Kunsthaus, Zurich ; Kunstmuseum, Berne ; The Phillips Collection, Washington) and to the family of the painter.
