The Pierre Gianadda Foundation dedicates its summer exhibition to a very important private collection, the Collection Merzbacher. For decades, this Swiss family collects works which translate its passion for the color and its lyric power. In introduction, some impressionistic works begin the exhibition with Monet, Renoir, Sisley and announce the other currents with Van Gogh, Modigliani, Picasso, Matisse, Derain, Pointer, Kandinksy, Beckmann, Jawlensky, Klee, Calder, Miró, …
Presented for the first time to the Royal Academy of London in 2002, and to the Louisiana of Copenhagen in 2010, this exhibition constitutes a real event.
