The City Manor of Martigny has the pleasure to welcome the exhibition " Être ainsi - Evocations of the woman in the cultures of the world", a project that was conceived in 2010 by Laurence d' Ist for the 8th Forum of plastic arts in Ile-de-France.Fourteen artists of diverse cultural origins evoke the woman by means of the sculpture (Coskun), the painting (Rivaboren, Aude Ambroggi, Najia Mehadji), of the photography (Jacques Bosser), the video ( Michaël Gaumnitz), the installation (Kaarina Kaikkonen, Laurence Drocourt and Aurélie Foutel), of the torn up poster (Jacques Villeglé), of the drawing (Sophie Sainrapt, Ernest Pignon-Ernest).
