The museum is housed in the former military warehouse adjacent to the Roman amphitheatre. It is the home of an array of artifacts and documents that tell the story of the Great St. Bernard dogs form an integral part of the place.

Using state-of-the-art and playful museography, the exhibitions are dedicated to highlighting this legacy and promoting the famous St. Bernard dog as a universal icon. One floor is reserved for temporary exhibitions.

The area reserved for the St. Bernard dogs is linked to an outdoor enclosure in a wooded park where the dogs can romp about and be watched by the public. If you decide to take a break, there will be a restaurant with a terrace waiting for you.
